Tricia Tranel

It is a blessing to serve the priests and people of this parish. My past ministries have been in the areas of Catholic school, parish liturgy and faith formation, and Archdiocesan Faith Formation. It is a gift to bring all these experiences together as I work with amazing staff and priests in the areas of liturgical and sacramental formation – with a particular emphasis on formation for liturgy, OCIA, and baptism preparation. 

I am fortunate to call the family farm of my upbringing in Galena, Illinois my home. Beautiful rolling hills, a winding creek, stunning sunrises/sunsets, and the wild critters who roam the area – as well as a “pilgrimage cross” erected on our highest point – have been a great source for inspiration, peace, and prayer throughout my life. Still, “crossing the Mississippi” each day to come to this church that is adorned with the beauty of both art and people is a daily delight for me.
